Want to turn a bar of metal into a magnet? We were shown how to do this by this young scientist!

Firstly, wrap copper around a bar of metal. Next, connect one end of the copper wire to a switch. Then, tape down the copper wire so it doesn’t fall out of place. Finally,  flick the switch and the bar has magnetic properties.
