At last the day finally arrived when the builders moved onto the school site to begin work on the much anticipated school extension!  Over the past seven years, we have been renting pre-fabricated classrooms at considerable cost to the school and the Department of Education.  Thankfully, the Department gave us the go-ahead for the new extension as far back as December 2013.

The new building will consist of two classrooms , to replace the pre-fabs, and four additional smaller units for S.E.N. teaching.  Unfortunately we will lose much of our garden at the entrance to the school but we had no choice but to site the unit there, as we have no space on the campus to house a building of that size.

The Board of Management expects that the classrooms will be open for the new school year which commences on August 31st.  Watch this space for regular updates and information.
